Artistic Disclaimer
The watercolour guest portraits constitute artistic interpretations of the photographed guests. Variations in style, colour and representation may occur due to differences in skin tones, attire, hairstyles and the artist’s creative approach. The portraits are not intended to be realistic renderings, but rather stylised keepsakes.
The artist does not replicate or imitate the styles of other artists. Requests to do so shall not be accommodated.
Liability, Environmental Conditions and Force Majeure
The artist shall not be held liable for any loss, damage or delay resulting from circumstances beyond her reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, extreme weather conditions, load shedding, power outages, venue restrictions, fire, flooding, strikes, or any other force majeure events.
The winner acknowledges that live painting is subject to environmental conditions. In the event of adverse weather (including wind, rain, excessive heat or cold), the venue must provide adequate shelter and protection for both the artist and materials. Should suitable conditions not be provided, the artist reserves the right to pause, delay or cease services where continuation may result in damage to materials or compromise safety.
The artist shall not be liable for any damage to artworks once they have been completed and placed in the designated collection area. This includes, but is not limited to, damage caused by guests, water, spills, weather exposure or mishandling.
The winner and/or venue shall be responsible for ensuring that the setup area is safe and protected from hazards, including liquid spills, unstable surfaces or environmental exposure. Any damage to the artist’s materials or equipment caused by negligence, guests, or venue conditions may be recoverable from the responsible party.
